Instagram divides its accounts into two main categories: Professional - that’s also divided into Business and Creator - and Personal. Each of them offers different benefits as they have different features.
The easiest way to identify your account type is by taking the steps to switch types and deduct by your current account type: your account type won't be available as an option. Here are the options:
If your Instagram account is a Personal profile, you'll see:
Switch to Professional Account
If your Instagram account is a Business account, you'll see:
Switch to Personal Account
Switch to Creator Account
If your Instagram account is a Creator account, you'll see:
Switch to Business Account
Switch to Personal Account
For example, if you see the options to “Switch to Personal Account” and “Switch to Creator Account” it means you have a Business Account.
